The nation is celebrating today the 77 th Pakistan Day in a befitting manner. The day is dawn with 31 gun salute in the Federal Capital, and 21 gun salute in the provincial capitals. Special feature of today’s parade is the participation of Peoples Liberation Army China's Tri Services, Saudi Special Force's contingents and Turkish Jannisary Military band. 23 rd of March is a significant day as it laid foundation of Pakistan in 1940 . We as nation has same spirit which we used to have in 1940. We are all equal and united under our flag. Because of efforts and sacrifices of our forefathers, we are living in a free and independent state. Since 1857, Muslims of subcontinent never accepted British rule with whole heart. Quaid-e-Azam materialized the dream of Allam Iqbal. He addressed a huge crowd at Iqbal Park and gave the message for a separate homeland.
